IAM calls for higher motorway speed limit

A major motoring organisation has found that 70 per cent of drivers would be in favour of raising the speed limit on UK motorways to 80mph. Whilst caravan owners rarely get up to such speeds, it is thought that the higher limit would lead to reduced congestion and shorter journey times for all road users.
